1.The club shall be known as Great Cornard Cricket Club.

 

2a. Each playing member shall pay an annual subscription, with a reduced subscription for juniors ( “under 18 at 31st May of any given year). The fees for each season shall be determined by the committee.

 

2b. Annual subscriptions shall be due in full by the 1st April each year and will run for a period of twelve months.

 

2c. Annual subscriptions for NEW members after 1st April deadline will pay pro rata.

 

3. The treasurer and the committee will be responsible for the maintenance and production of proper accounts. No elected officer of the club may be made a signatory to the club’s bank account until he/she has served at least one full year on the committee.

 

4. A bank account shall be opened with Lloyds Bank under the provisions made under the Banks form “Authority 5” a copy of which is affixed to the clubs minute book.

 

5. The management of the club shall be entrusted to a committee appointed at the clubs Annual General Meeting.

6. Fourteen days notice shall be given of the clubs Annual General Meeting.

 

7a. Each playing member shall pay a match fee for each game played Home and Away, with a reduced fee for juniors (under 18 at 31st May of any given year). The fees for each season shall be determined by the committee.

 

7b. A reduced fee will be charged for a match that is deemed to have started and subsequently abandoned, the amount will be determined by the committee.

 

8. The club colours shall be white, trimmed sky, navy blue.

 

9. Membership shall be open to all irrespective of age, gender, disability, race, ethnic origin, creed, colour, social status and sexual orientation.

 

10. The committee shall form a quorum of at least four for all meetings.

11. Dissolution

An Extraordinary General Meeting will be called with a minimum of 14 days notice being given to dissolve the club.

A majority vote of the membership shall be required to dissolve the club.

The Clubs Assets (once any outstanding debts have been repaid) will be distributed with 100 percent membership approval. In the event of dissension the current standing committee will have overiding authority.
